On behalf of
West Point Grey Academy’s Parent Volunteer Group (PVG), it is my pleasure to share the exceptional mission and mandate of our parent community, a wonderful group of people who care deeply about our school, our greater community, and our children’s experience at WPGA.
The PVG’s mission is to support WPGA’s mission and strategic priorities and to help foster a strong, inclusive, and engaged school community. We aim to accomplish this by:
- Serving as a point of connection and communication between the school’s Leadership Team and parents.
- Enhancing a genuine and personalized sense of belonging for students and families.
- Hosting, co-hosting or supporting events for community-building, fundraising and school celebrations.
- Coordinating a variety of opportunities for parents to volunteer their time and talents in support of the school.
The PVG holds three general meetings a year, including an Annual General Meeting in June, and supports 17 committees.
Being part of our parent association is one of the best ways to participate in our children’s school journey, to connect with other families, and to help advance the school’s mission and vision. It's truly a rewarding experience that enriches our own school experience while benefitting the entire Grey Wolf community of students, parents, teachers, staff and friends.
Warm regards,
Vicki Wong
