WPGA at a Glance

West Point Grey Academy is an independent, nonprofit and nondenominational day school for junior kindergarten to grade 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Located on 18 acres on the Jericho Lands, we are proud to reside on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation.

Driven by our mission, Shaping Lives of Inquiry, Action and Joy, our educational philosophy is rooted in a culture of care, which empowers extraordinary learning in each student.

We offer a comprehensive academic curriculum, with enriched opportunities in global learning, languages, outdoor education, the visual and performing arts, and more. Academic growth is supported by our commitment to character development, community service and student wellbeing—we understand that an outstanding education is more than acquiring knowledge; it’s about knowing the whole person and their potential.
