Upper Gym & STEM Room

Upper Gym 

Thanks to support of our community at our annual Gala, organized by our Parent Volunteer Group, as well as many generous donors, we are excited to be building a new gym. Located on the north hill between the Junior School and Senior School, the Upper Gym is an 8,000-square foot customized facility designed by Sprung Structures. All students from JK-12 will benefit from this modern, movable space, which will be used for athletic programming as well as for school assemblies, educational fairs, parent and alumni events, music and art performances, and club and group meetings. Construction started in October 2017 and is scheduled for completion in spring 2018. 

Senior STEM Room 

Over summer 2017, we built a new STEM classroom (science, technology, engineering, math) in the Senior School. The room features customized workspaces, industrial design equipment, power tools, and storage. Mr. Thomas, Mr. Pope, Mr. Bohnen and Mr. Barnum are thrilled to be teaching in this space, which allows for maximum student innovation and creativity in our growing STEM program.
