Welcome! We are delighted you are interested in West Point Grey Academy. We know that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you can make for your child. WPGA encourages students to become their best selves. Whether your child’s passion is math, music, science, debate, languages, outdoor exploration, engineering or athletics, we offer diverse academic and cocurricular programs that empower each student to thrive. 

We also know how essential it is to support our students’ social and emotional growth. Our unique character education program, rooted in positive psychology and a growth mindset, is integrated into the curriculum. Our goal is for our students to be open-minded, engaged individuals who navigate life's joys and challenges with confidence, resilience and integrity.

SCHOOL TOURS

Thank you for considering West Point Grey Academy as a prospective school for your family. We understand the importance of exploring our campus and community to make an informed decision for your child's education.
 
Our information sessions and student-led campus tours ran steadily throughout the fall. We now turn our attention to reading applications and beginning the assessment and interview process with applicant families. We are excited to host more tours in spring 2025.

THE ENROLMENT COMMITTEE

The Enrolment Committee, chaired by the Director of Enrolment, includes the Head of School and members of the Junior and Senior School Leadership Teams. Committee members review applications, participate in interviews and contribute to the admission decision-making process.

  • No Gifts Policy 

    The West Point Grey Academy Enrolment Office has a no-gifts policy. We respect the gesture of appreciation; however, we do not accept donations/gifts of any kind from prospective families.

Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
